IDloop explores palm and roll modalities in the middle of the year. The industrial 3D scanning line has expanded to include BTM one inspect and BTM flex. IDloop was also amongst the eleven finalists selected for NIST’s Fast Capture project.
IDloop launched BTM-ANA (now renamed as BTM one), expanding its portfolio of 3D imaging solutions.
Our flagship CFS flats was launched that year at Identity Week Europe 2024. The company became ISO 9001 certified and CFS flats received FBI PIV certification.
IDloop received a funding of €10 Million from the European Union and went into their first collaboration with the BSI (Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security). The team expanded later that year.
At Jan 2022, IDloop was incorporated with two additional founders. That year, IDloop participated in the NIST:CRADA project, won an award at Investor Days and received Innovationspreis Thuringen under the category, “Light & Life” and was also awarded €160K at “get started 2gether” competition.
Two of the founders, Jörg Reinhold and Dr. Tom Michalsky, won third place for their idea of the employment of 3D imaging technology to capture fingerprint at Digital Pitch 2021. From the idea, the first proof of concept was developed and that led to their first investor.
